Instructions on the Steps for Issuing an EI Inclusion Search Certificate Report (2020 Version)
步驟1：進(jìn)入廈門大學(xué)圖書館主頁，點(diǎn)擊“數(shù)據(jù)庫”-“外文數(shù)據(jù)庫”-字母“E”-“Engineering Village（Ei）”鏈接，進(jìn)入該數(shù)據(jù)庫https://www.engineeringvillage.com/search/quick.url ，查看數(shù)據(jù)庫介紹請(qǐng)點(diǎn)擊http://www.gofreeit.cn/info/1120/1140.htm
Step 1: Go to the homepage of Xiamen University Library, click on the link of "Database" - "Foreign Language Database" - Letter "E" - "Engineering Village (Ei)" to enter the database https://www.engineeringvillage.com/search/quick .url , to view the database introduction, please click http://www.gofreeit.cn/info/1120/1140.htm
步驟2：在“Search for”欄中寫入要檢索的關(guān)鍵詞（通常寫文章標(biāo)題中的關(guān)鍵詞，不要寫入連詞、介詞、定冠詞和不定冠詞），在“Search in”欄中選擇檢索范圍（通常選擇Title），可自行增減檢索項(xiàng)，最后點(diǎn)擊“Search”按鈕（圖1）。
Step 2: Write the keywords to be searched in the "Search for" column (usually write the keywords in the article title, do not write conjunctions, prepositions, definite articles and indefinite articles), in the "Search in" column Select the search scope (usually select Title), you can increase or decrease the search items by yourself, and finally click the "Search" button (Figure 1).
步驟3：找到目標(biāo)記錄后，點(diǎn)擊“Detailed”鏈接，進(jìn)入詳細(xì)頁面格式（圖2）。
Step 3: After finding the target record, click the "Detailed" link to enter the detailed page format (Figure 2).
步驟4：進(jìn)入詳細(xì)頁面格式后，點(diǎn)擊“Download”按鈕，下載PDF格式的收錄信息并打印出來（圖3、圖4）。（PDF格式的打印稿通常一篇文章一頁）
Step 4: After entering the detailed page format, click the "Download" button to download the included information in PDF format and print it out (Figure 3, Figure 4). (The printout in PDF format is usually one page per article)
步驟5：將打印好的證明（如下圖5），拿到廈門大學(xué)圖書館信息咨詢部或者翔安分館7號(hào)咨詢臺(tái)，經(jīng)工作人員核對(duì)后蓋章生效。
Step 5: Take the printed certificate (as shown in Figure 5 below) to the Information and Consultation Department of Xiamen University main Library or the Information Desk No. 7 of the Xiang'an Branch Library. After verification by the staff, it will be stamped to take effect.
注1：若一頁中有多個(gè)目標(biāo)記錄（通常采用作者姓名檢索的時(shí)候），可右鍵點(diǎn)擊“detailed”鏈接，選擇在新窗口中打開每一個(gè)目標(biāo)記錄的詳細(xì)信息頁面。
注2：EI收錄源期刊（定期更新）可以查閱https://www.elsevier.com/solutions/engineering-village/content#databases
訪問網(wǎng)址后，查尋Compendex source list，下載Excel表單（表單定期更新，請(qǐng)留意）。
Note 1: If there are multiple target records on one page (usually when searching by author name), you can right-click the "detailed" link and choose to open the detailed information page of each target record in a new window.
Note 2: Source journals included in EI (regularly updated) can be found at https://www.elsevier.com/solutions/engineering-village/content#databases
After visiting the website, you can search the Compendex source list and download the Excel form (the form is updated regularly, please pay attention).
